Save the date for Nutcracker and BNW Company auditions: September 21-22!

Registration is open for auditions for Ballet Northwest’s Nutcracker at the Washington Center in Olympia! Dancers must be 8 years old before September 1. Dancers 8-10 do not need previous dance experience; dancers age 11 and up are required to have previous ballet experience.

Johansen Olympia Dance Center is proud to include the AMERICAN BALLET THEATRE® National Training Curriculum, a breakthrough 8 level program that combines high quality artistic training with the basics of dancer health and child development. The ABT® National Training Curriculum consists of a comprehensive set of age-appropriate, outcome-based guidelines to provide the highest quality ballet training to dance students of all ages and skill levels. Primary through Level 5 will be taught by ABT® Certified Teachers Ken and Josie Johnson who have successfully completed the ABT® Teacher Training Intensive in Primary through Level 5 of the ABT® National Training Curriculum.
